1. 1. If I attend all the Bear Events, is there a fee for each event?
No. There is just one fee to cover the 40th Reunion events for all
3 days.  The "Best Ball Golf Tournament" is the exception.

2. 2.   What does the $65.00 fee include?
It includes the following:
1.  Rental fee for River's Edge Golf Facility for Friday Night Social Mixer.
2.  Rental fee for The Riverhouse facility for the "Main Event."
3.  It includes your dinner, dessert and coffee.
4.  It includes the Park & Rec. fee for Harmon Park Sunday Send-Off Service.
5.  It includes Starbuck's Coffee and pastries for the Sunday Send-Off Service.
6.  It includes the cost of Name Badges.
7.  It includes cost of Registration Packets.
8.  It includes cost of Scholarships.
9.  It includes cost of printing, displays, gifts and awards!
10. It includes the cost of our domain name and web site hosting.
IT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE BEAR HOURS TO TRACK DOWN, AND COMPILE
A "LAVA BEAR DATA BASE" FOR ALL TO ENJOY NOR THE TIME AND EFFORT
TO PUT THE LOGISTICS TOGETHER!

3. 3.  Are guests allowed at the reunion?
Yes.  If you would like to bring a wife, husband, date, or a sibling, please do so.
However, it is our 40th reunion so no party boopers!  If your spouse doesn't
want to join this "fabulously" fun group of bears for the Bear Social, leave them
home!   We don't want your significant "other" to drag you away minutes after
arriving!  Only fun people allowed!

4.  4.  If any Lava Bear alumni would like to join our class reunion, can they register?
Absolutely.   Bend was a great community, and we all knew each other's brothers
and sisters as well as classmates above and below us.  The more Bears the
"Merrier", and the more "Memories of the Way We Were!"

5. 5.  If I have a special need regarding food, what do I do?

Go to the "Main Event", and there is a section that allows you to make
special requests.  Example:  If you are a vegetarian, please denote that
you are requesting a special meal.

6. 6.  Is there going to be dancing on Saturday night?
Yes, absolutely!  After the Dinner/Auction Fun Night, we will all go over to the
Lounge for dancing.  The class of "69" hired a band, but the music was impossible to dance to.  They moved over to the lounge, took it over, and it
was "Bear Dancing" all night!  This also helped keep costs down.  It is expensive
to hire a band, and pay for the set up.

7. 7.  Where is the best place to stay for the reunion?
The Riverhouse would be your best bet!  All the activities are centered around
The Riverhouse.  When you get into town, you can check in, and walk up to
the "Bear Social" if you like.  After the Bear Social, you can walk back to your
room or walk to the lounge for "Bear Dancing" with your old classmates.
For those that plan to golf Saturday; River's Edge golf course is just behind
The Riverhouse.

8.

8.  Do I have to get all dressed up for the events?

No.  What ever you are comfortable in!  Casual fun!

9. 9.  What do I do if I don't recognize my "Bear Buds?"

Just say, "Excuse me, it looks like you spilled something on your chest!"
Then quickly read their name badge, and look at the photo.  Please don't
gasp!!!!!!   No gasping allowed.

10. 10.  What do I do when I see somebody that was really mean to me in school, or
somebody that I wished I had gotten to know better or somebody I wished
        I had or hadn't dated.
It's been 40 years!  The mean person probably wasn't mean at all, or if they
were, they probably aren't anymore.   The person you wish you knew, well
get to know them.  If you wished you had asked someone out, and you are
both available, it is not too late.  If you see the person you dated and wished
you hadn't; just think how lucky you are.  Nothing in life is the way it seems or
appears.  People you thought had it all, may have been hurting.  People you
didn't notice, probably now run or own a company.  Life isn't fair, life isn't easy,
but it is what you make of it that counts.  If you go thinking you will have a great time you will,  if you go thinking you will have a horrible time you will.  Either way,
you will be right.  The decision is up to you!  We all plan to have a great time.
There will be lots of laughs and lots of tears and lots of memories of all those
years!

11. 11.  What if I didn't graduate with the class?  What if I only came my senior
year?  What if I left in the 10th grade?  Is it ok to come?
Absolutely!  We are all one big bear family from the Bend Bear Caves!
There will be people there who have never made a reunion before.  The
40th will be their first.  Some who left school early, some who came late; it
doesn't matter.  Everybody is welcome.
