Hi all,  This is what we posted on Facebook "Class Of 1970"
I’m sorry it’s taking us so long to get something together:(
Hope you all can make it:) If you could help us spread the word or if you have emails please
forward:))

Hey there Class of ’70.  Unbelievably, it’s time for our 45th reunion.
Please help us celebrate with the “Big One Dayer”.  One big day of fun and camaraderie.
We held our 40th reunion at River's Edge Golf Course and they have agreed to let us come back.
We’re also repeating the golf tournament because everyone that played had such a good time.
So - here are the details:

Date:  Saturday, August 22, 2015
Golf Tournament starts at 1pm
   - Absolutely no skills required - just a good sense of humor!
   - $42 for 9 holes with cart
   - reserve your spot by calling Andy French at 541-480-2969 or email him at ajfrench@bendcable.com

The evening festivities will start at 5pm at the Clubhouse with a casual BBQ and no-host bar. The cost will be $20/person.  The plan is to keep it simple and casual - so nothing to do but catch up and reconnect!

Register for either the golf tournament and/or the evening festivities by clicking on the PayPal link below or by sending a check to: Class of 1970 c/o Red Carpet Car Wash, P.O. Box 5323,  Bend, OR  97709.
we hope you’ll join us for “The Big One”!

Memories
Like the Corners of my mind
Misty watered clored memories
of the Way We Were!

Scattered Pictures
of the smiles we left behind
Smiles We gave to one Another
For the Way We Were

Can it be that it was all so simple then
or has time rewritten every line
If we had the chance to do it all again
Tell Me, Would We? Could We?

Memories
May be beautiful and yet
What is too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget.

So its the laughter
we will remember
whenever we remember
The Way We Were
The Way We Were!!!!!!!!

Stay tuned for memories and words!  Coming soon!
2014 Rose Bowl Bound!
2014 Rose Bowl Bound!
2014 Duck Football Season!  What another great Duck Football Season!  Once
again, it was a fantastic time to see old friends and Bendites each football game.
Of course a few of us got the red carpet treatment, courtesy, of Chris and Debbie
Wetle!  Can't thank them enough for hosting the tail gate party each game, and also
for the "Wetle Presidential Suite" at their home.  They are simply awesome, and will love and cherish them both for life!  It is very special to have childhood friends, and your best
friends for a lifetime.

It was particularly wonderful this Duck season when Steve McClain joined us at
a Duck game, and Marcia Grote came to town the same weekend!  What a fabulous
weekend of memories that was.  Eugene and Portland was rocking with Bendites.

We wish our beloved Duck many blessings for the Rose Bowl!  We are playing for
the National Title soon!

Blessings to all in 2015!
PS:  Nice to send some good news for a change!

I received a very special Christmas Card in 2014.  It came from a classmate I have not
seen in 44 years, and it meant the world to me.

"Sending you a Christmas card reminds me of how you have crossed my path and
touched my life.  Warm Wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!"

Thank you so very much, it meant the world to me!

Blessings Veronica

Wishing all my old classmates a Wonderful, Merry Christmas, and
many blessings in 2013!

It is the time of year, you really treasure the blessings of family and
friends, and a lifetime of memories.  I have enjoyed every single
Christmas Card because of the thought, time and care put into them.
In this day and age, it is electronic text messages, emails, generic facebook greetings, which usually includes "it is all about me!"

This week, it was wonderful to actually get a plate of home
baked cookies, receive photos of family & friends, have a meal with
just "good quality people", and most of all; being around people who
understand the meaning of the true "Christmas Sprit", and what a gift this special Christmas Holiday is all about.

Take a moment to open the door for someone, call someone you have been meaning to call forever-but life keeps getting in the way,
make a senior day, and drop by-remember you are a step away, but
above all else; just be the best you can be each day.

Looking forward to a walk in the snow in Bend during the holidays, and remembering the "Way We Were!"

Blessings Always
Your Bearette Bud!
Mr. Magic Mom!
Mr. Magic Mom!
Our beloved Mr. Magic's Mom has received her Angel Wings!
Duane Zanon's mom passed away this last Wednesday, and her service will be
in Bend on April 12, 2013.  Please read the attached obituary for details.

I know Mr. Magic would love to see some of his old classmates, and I know
many would like to pay their respects to his beloved mom Barbara.

Barbara and Kevin Domby's folks were the only parents to make it to our
40th reunion, and darn did they all look great!  Mr. Magic must have done his magic
on his mom.  It was so great to have her join us, and I sure don't have half the
energy she had.

Our prayers and thoughts are with Duane Zanon and his family at this most difficult time.

Our blessings our with them.

300 AND COUNTING!

CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES-COME ON-LET'S CELEBRATE!
CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES-COME ON-LET'S CELEBRATE!

Bearette Buz:

Wow!  It is amazing, we have almost 300 people registered
for our upcoming 40 and Fab Event!  We may be a few
years older, but what a great class we have.  It is super
exciting to know we will all be together again after all
these years, and so many coming that haven't shown up
in 40 years!  Don't worry, we haven't changed much.

Rex Wayne is alive and well, and hoping to join in the
festivities!  That tops the news for really great news!
So many fun stories over this last couple weeks; it is
hard to know where to start.

Dave Edwards, recently lost his beloved wife, and hadn't
planned to attend the reunion, but has decided to make
the long trip out of state to support some fellow bears
who had some health issues, but have been blessed with
some great news on their road to recovery.

Carl Sell who suffered a serious head injury is still working
on getting a flight, and getting to the reunion.  He too
has had a miraculous recovery.

A couple weeks ago a few "Bearettes who hadn't seen
each other in 20, 30 and 40 years got together, at
the last minute, and had a blast.  It was like 40 years
had never passed, and it was only yesterday that we
all sat giggled about all the crazy things we had done.
We talked, laughed and cried half the night, and yet
didn't make a dent on catching up, so it was agreed we
need to get together regularly and catch up and just
have fun.  It was amazing learning who was related to
who, and the connections of the past and present.
One Bearette immediately left the party, called the
mother of a "Missing Bear", and while on the phone with
the mother; the Missing Bear beeped in!  It was amazing,
like so many other stories.

Last night; I got to spend the evening with a "Long Lost
Lava Bear" who was a great friend in high school, but
we had all lost touch with her.  It was Terri Wheeler
Fess.  She looks absolutely amazing, and it was an
amazing time together.  There were so many miracles
in this "get together"; it was simply incredible.  It
reminded me of not too long ago; I was speaking with
a Bear Bud.  They said everything is an accident, and
I said I believe there are no accidents.  We laughed
and agreed to disagree.  So I say, all the crazy things,
that happened along the way to our great "mini reunion"
was no accident, and Terri agreed.  Unfortunately,
by the time Terri was found in her cave, she already
had a major trip planned out of the country for her
anniversary.  She truly wishes she could join the celebration.  If you get a chance, send her an email.

I can't wait for you to find out who the Super Heroes
are behind the scenes.  Incredible people helping in
so many ways.  It just shows the spirit of kinship
growing up together in Bend.

So any of you out there that are worried about coming,
DON'T!  There have been so many people, that have had
the opportunity to reconnect, and found that it wasn't
so painful or scary after all.  They noted time and again,
they were thankful for some reconnecting, because they
realized how really fun it was.  Yes, with people they
hardly knew way back then!

It is going to be so much fun; the hard part is cramming
it all in-in 3 days!  So bring your cameras, and take lots
of photos.  Because when the 50 rolls around;  we will definately be  to old to beg for photos again.
All those photos you take, will keep the fun memories
alive.   We will post to the site so everyone can enjoy following the reunion!
Two weeks to Fun Times!

Even just twenty mins after you quit, your blood pressure drops and your body begins to heal. After two days, your nerve endings start to re-grow and your ability to smell and taste begins to return. After two weeks to three months it is easier to walk and to breathe.Between 1-9 months : coughing, sinus congestion, fatigue, shortness of breath decreases. There are many benefits, to quitting smoking, and there are tons of resources today to help you quit.Talking to your doctor honestly about smoking can help best, and many health insurance companies and some jobs will give you benefits if you quit. In some states, even without health insurance they will cover smoking cessation programs for you.Good luck! Was this answer helpful? cialis affordable insurance car

I’m curious, maybe you can ask Joel about this. Do you ever notice a marked difference in plant growth with rain from Thunderstorms than the usual showery uneventful rain ? I’ve studied this for years and some of the companies I have worked with create devices to replicate the water’s molecular structure to something similar to what the grounded electrolysis does for lightning storm rain drops.Notice this next time you have storms. Notice that regular rain has a pinging sound when it hits your roof. However rain from Thunderstorms should have a dull flat splatting sound when it hit’s the roof. Water molecules from Thunderstorms are more loosely bonded and the clusters tinier than other water droplets. Joel will know what the terms wetter water and wetting agents mean. Conventional Farmers using science based technologies use chemicals to break the electrical bonding of heavily clustered water molecules, however the negative electrical charge from the ground into the atmosphere in an electrical storm will accomplish the same thing. Water molecules more loosely bonded will soak into the soil easier and the elements disolve better for the microbes and other soil biota to consume and give them back to plants. The plants themselves find it easier to hydrate themselves quicker.Aside from that, I love the sound of rain hitting on a corrugated tin roof and the fragrance of various plant isoprenes permeating the air all at once giving me a natural high. *smile*– nexium online physicians cialis

This is my favorite recap of part 1 but I am still reeling over part 2. Brandi can do things that wouldn’t suit me but that’s cool. She is herself and she owns it. I think the Richard’s sisters need to be called out for how mean they are, especially Kyle. Last season Kyle was continually mean to her sister then outting her drinking problem on national tv, then she is continually caddy towards Camille who was on shifting sand. Will Demi Moore ever call to get her look back from Kyle? And the emerald earrings that Kyle wore numerous times last season were missing this season, do you think that Angelina remembered where she misplaced them. I love flawed, complicated people, honestly I do.However, I don’t understand how Kyle can act so holier than thou when Brandi dares to utter the word “labia” (OMG!) in the 2nd reunion show. Will someone please remind Kyle that her niece is Paris Hilton? Brandi merely uttered the word but Paris made the all too human mistake of making a sex tape with some guy (let’s not get into the history) and her actual “labia” were seen by many but the word offends Kyle?! Hmm interesting. Would somebody please pull Kyle aside and point out to her that villifying other ppl by talking behind their backs, smirking at their explanations and roughshodding over their sincere apologies doesn’t make the world blind to her meanness nor does it do anything to elevate her status. Somehow from reading some of the 2,300 posts on Lisa’s blog on Bravo, I get the feeling that all we have to do is sit back and watch the backlash and karma come back on Kyle, hopefully it will humble her a bit. Just one more thing before I finish my rant, the only thing I don’t like about Brandi is when she calls herself a slut. I don’t think any woman should be called a slut, not even Paris Hilton. In the immortal words of Dolly Parton in Steel Magnolias, “if a girl can achieve puberty she can achieve a past” and no woman should have to live with that label. I hear a voice in the garden say I am never alone. The flowers look so lovely and it’s great to be home then I wake up and find it was only a dream. Heaven is still waiting it seems. I look for the joy in this day and that, and long for the day when I can go back but today I need strength and joy for the way for I most go on today. I have those who love me and I no they care, but some times its so hard to be here. I feel a hand that holds me so close and a voice full of love that I hear the most. I reach for the hand as I lowly go on, the path is not easy to be on but up there ahead just out of site is the end of the journey and heavens delight. The journey gets long and the road is some times rocky and the path steep but you can make it cause you have someone who loves you leading the way or carrying you when need be. We miss you my dear and we wonder where you have been. They say no news is good news, but when its been so long we get worried. Please tell us your okay. Please…Leann. cheap car insurance car insurance in florida
